Picofy Laser Treatment

Advanced Picosecond Laser Technology at Derma-Radiance & Wellness

Derma-Radiance & Wellness is proud to offer Picofy by InMode, an advanced picosecond laser treatment designed to address

unwanted pigmentation, acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven skin texture, cosmetic eyebrow pigment, and unwanted tattoos.

Picofy delivers laser energy in extremely short pulses to target pigment while limiting unnecessary heat exposure to the surrounding skin. Treatment is customized according to your concern, Fitzpatrick skin type, treatment area, pigment depth, and individual response.

Every treatment begins with a clinical consultation to determine whether Picofy is appropriate for your skin and goals.

What Can Picofy Treat?

Picofy may help improve the appearance of:

· Melasma

· Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation

· Sunspots and age spots

· Uneven skin tone

· Post-acne marks

· Acne scars

· Enlarged pores

· Uneven skin texture

· Fine lines

· Microblading and cosmetic eyebrow tattoos

· Professional and amateur body tattoos

Not every pigmented lesion is appropriate for cosmetic laser treatment. Changing, irregular, raised, bleeding, painful, or undiagnosed lesions may require medical evaluation before treatment.

How Does Picofy Work?

Picofy uses ultra-short laser pulses to break unwanted pigment or tattoo ink into smaller particles that the body can gradually clear through its natural processes.

What Should I Expect?

During treatment, you may experience a snapping, tingling, or warming sensation. Cooling or topical anesthetic may be used when appropriate. Temporary effects may include redness, mild swelling, warmth, tenderness, dryness, flaking, temporary darkening of pigment, or whitening of tattoo ink. Downtime varies depending on the treatment performed and your individual skin response. Pigment and tattoo ink fade gradually rather than disappearing immediately.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Pigmentation, rejuvenation, and pore treatments commonly require a series of approximately three sessions. Acne scars, deeper pigmentation, cosmetic pigment, and body tattoos may require additional treatments. The number of treatments depends on the concern, pigment depth, tattoo color and density, skin type, treatment area, and individual response. Complete clearance cannot be guaranteed.

Is Picofy Right for Me?

Treatment may need to be postponed for clients with recent tanning or sunburn, active infection, open wounds, an active herpes outbreak, pregnancy, photosensitivity, certain medications, or an undiagnosed pigmented lesion. Your medical history, medications, recent sun exposure, and treatment goals will be reviewed during your consultation.
